Society of Seven to Reunite for One Night Only at Ala Moana Hotel, Oct. 25

 

Hawaii’s favorite variety troupe, Society of Seven, is set to take the stage at Ala Moana Hotel for two homecoming performances. The group, co-founded by Tony Ruivivar and Bert Sagum, was an Outrigger Waikiki Beach Resort staple from 1969 until 2012, and will reunite on Oct. 25 at 6:30 and 9 p.m. at the Hibiscus Ballroom. Fans can look forward to all of the group’s classic hits, in addition to the vivacious tunes of songstress Lhey Bella.

McNish previously served as legal counsel for RevoluSun and Distributed Energy Partners prior to the two entities splitting into separate business units last month, and before that worked as an associate attorney at Alston Hunt Floyd & Ing.

In her new role, Kopelevich will lead overall marketing strategy and oversee strategic communications, brand management, advertising and promotions, community outreach, customer programs, and event coordination.

 

Prior to RevoluSun, Kopelevich served as a Communications/Intranet Analyst for HawkTree International in Honolulu and Marketing Manager for ReR USA in Denver, Colorado.

Kopelevich is a graduate of the University of Colorado Denver, where she earned a bachelor of fine arts in animation and film. She is a member of  the University of Colorado Alumni Association, where she serves on the scholarship committee and volunteers with the Hawaiian Humane Society.

Atlas Insurance Agency, Inc., Hawaii’s largest locally owned and managed insurance agency, has announced the appointments of Mike Ayson, Sandy Ferreira and Dana Tokioka as Assistant Vice Presidents in it Client Consulting Group.

Michael Ayson has over 12 years of experience in the insurance industry and will continue to be responsible for servicing the company’s AOAO clients. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance from the University of Hawaii and is a member of the Financial Management Association.

Sandra Ferreira has nearly 20 years of experience in the insurance industry and will continue to be responsible for the development, sales and servicing of the company’s commercial clients. She holds a degree in Business from St. Pete Junior College in St. Petersburg, Florida.

Servco to sell Raynor Overhead Doors Division Back to Former Owners

HONOLULU – servco.com – Servco Pacific Inc. (Servco) announced it is selling its Servco Raynor Overhead Doors, Inc. (Servco Raynor) division to Peter Eldridge and Mike Markley.  Eldridge and Markley were the former owners of Raynor Pacific Overhead Doors until it was acquired by Servco in 2005.  The sale is expected to be finalized in early 2015.

Servco Raynor Overhead Doors, Hawaii’s premier residential and commercial garage door specialist, will continue to do business under the Servco name and the business will remain in its current location in Mapunapuna until the sale has been finalized. Eldridge will serve as CEO and Markley as Secretary/Treasurer of the new company which hopes to hire most, if not all, of the 20 current employees.

Customers Can Get Free McCafe® Coffee at McDonald’s® During Breakfast Hours From Sept. 16 to 29

HONOLULU – McDonald’s® Restaurants of Hawaii is planning a second round of coffee sampling from September 16 to 29 where customers can get a free small hot cup of McCafe® coffee during breakfast hours at participating restaurants, no purchase necessary. In Hawaii only, the coffee is a unique Royal Kona Blend that now comes in a richer and bolder flavor. It is freshly roasted in Hawaii and supplied to McDonald’s by Hawaii Coffee Company.

“McDonald’s of Hawaii has been serving our Royal Kona Blend brand since its first restaurant opened in Aina Haina in 1968,” said Jim Lenhart, Hawaii Coffee Company vice president of sales and service. “We’re proud of our more than 40-year partnership and have enjoyed working with McDonald’s of Hawaii to develop quality local products for McDonald’s customers.”
